1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using PantryGen (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, do not use the Service.
These Terms apply to all visitors and registered users of the Service, including use of the recipe generator, meal planner, and recipe library features.
2. Description of the Service
PantryGen is a recipe generation service. You describe the ingredients you have on hand, and the Service uses artificial intelligence to generate complete recipes, including steps, servings, and estimated nutrition information.
The Service also provides a meal planner and a personal recipe library. Some features require a registered account; some require credits or a paid subscription.
3. Your Account
The Service supports sign-in through Google. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information and for keeping your Google credentials secure.
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital-consent age in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher) to create an account and use the Service.
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. If you suspect unauthorized access, stop using the Service and contact us immediately.
4. Credits & Subscriptions
Certain features of the Service consume credits. Free accounts receive a limited number of credits per week; paid plans provide higher or daily allowances. Credits are a metering mechanism, not property, and unused credits do not accumulate or carry over unless we state otherwise.
Paid subscriptions are processed by our payment provider, Creem. Subscription fees are charged in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or yearly, depending on the plan you select) until you cancel. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through the billing portal; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds are handled at our discretion in accordance with applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us with the details of the transaction.
We may change pricing, credit allowances, or plan features. Material changes to your paid plan will be communicated before they take effect.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to: violate any applicable law or regulation; infringe the rights of others; attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or its infrastructure; scrape, resell, or redistribute the Service's output at scale; or interfere with the Service's availability for other users.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that, in our reasonable judgment, violate these Terms.
6. AI-Generated Content Disclaimer
Recipes, nutrition estimates, and other content generated by the Service are produced by artificial intelligence and are suggestions only. AI output may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your dietary needs.
Nutrition and allergen information provided by the Service is an estimate and does not constitute medical, nutritional, or dietary advice. Always verify ingredients, cooking temperatures, and allergen information before preparing any recipe. Consult a qualified healthcare professional, nutritionist, or allergist regarding any health condition or dietary requirement.
7. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its software, design, and branding, is owned by PantryGen and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the ingredient lists and preferences you submit. By submitting content to the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content for the sole purpose of operating and providing the Service to you.
Recipes you save to your library remain yours. Recipes published to public pages of the Service may be displayed publicly and indexed by search engines.
8. Termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or if we discontinue the Service or any part of it.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) remain in effect.
9. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will meet your requirements.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, PantryGen and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from or related to your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars (USD $50) if you have not paid us in that period.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page with its “Last updated” date. Material changes will be communicated through the Service.
Continuing to use the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service.
